The Shipley estate is an ancient manor mentioned in the Domesday Book (1086), when it was recorded as belonging to Gilbert of Ghent, the nephew of William the Conqueror.

Directions
The main entrance to Shipley Country Park is Well Signposted from Derby Road (A608) and from the motorway, M1 junction 26.
To avoid congestion we advise all visitors driving to Shipley Park to drive through the industrial estate, as Thorpes Road leading to Slack Lane can be very narrow.

FAQs
Q: Are dogs allowed into the festival?
A: Well behaved dogs on a lead are more than welcome at this festival and there are some doggy stalls for them too.
Q: Is there disabled access?
A: There is limited Disabled Parking on site. There are Disabled toilets by the café, and on the festival site. Please note the Festival is held on the large event field at the front of the grounds but easily accessible.
Q: Do the stalls accept debit / credit card?
A: Many but not all stall holders provide card facilities for customers and this is something most stall holders will be looking at for the future.
Q: How many stalls are there?
A: The number of stalls can vary but is usually between 60 and 100. We like to offer a wide variety so you can expect various food & drink stalls, bars, street food vendors and gift & craft stalls.
Q: Where do I park?
A: There is a large pay and display car park on site with overflow if necessary.
